Does my 90 Mini Mini have USB‑C or Micro‑USB connection?

We recently updated the specification of the 90 Mini Mini so that new models now feature USB‑C ports in the base. If you’re unsure which connection your lamp has, the steps below will help you check.

How can I tell which USB connection my 90 Mini Mini uses?

There are two easy ways to find out:

1. Check the charging port on the lamp base

Turn the lamp base over and look closely at the USB port.

• USB‑C ports are small, oval, and symmetrical – the cable can be plugged in either way up
• Micro‑USB ports are smaller and asymmetrical, with a slightly trapezoid shape – the cable only fits one way

If the port looks the same whichever way you turn it, it’s USB‑C.

2. Look at the cable supplied with your lamp

If you still have the original cable:

• USB‑C cable: slim, oval connector, reversible
• Micro‑USB cable: narrower, angled connector, one‑way only

The connector end that plugs into the lamp will confirm which version you have.
