Bulb Wattage Comparisons

Please note: CFL and Halogen are no longer produced but this will help when deciding what wattage bulb you will need in 'old language' e.g Halogen

Required light output is quite a personal requirement, some people like a softer light, some a much whiter light. Our standard bulb is E27, 2700K 5.5W 600LM LED Filament, a move to 4K colour temperature and higher wattage/lumens output might be more beneficial if you find this light not enough.  The only caveat would be to ensure the bulb is not too big as you may then suffer with glare. It would be best that you maybe try a couple of options to see what works best for you.

The bulbs we provide with Desk, Table & some Wall Lights are rated E or F but customers can purchase a more energy-efficient bulb if they wish.

Please note that the energy efficiency is rated by the bulb, not the lamp/light.
