Model Range Linkage Bars Fitting Instructions

These instructions are for fitting replacement Model and Apex Range Linkage Bars (10164). 

This is what it should look like on a Model 75 or Model 90.

1. Take off the side springs to decrease the tension.
2. Unscrew the thumb wheel and take out the long linkage bolt, so the broken nylon linkage bars can be taken off.
3. Obtain the replacement linkage bars and pin kit.
4. Push the small pin through the back arm.
5. Place the nylon linkage bars onto the pin.
6. Align the linkage bars with the other two arms.
7. Insert the linkage bolt through.
8. Tighten the thumb wheel back on.

Please note: These instructions can also be followed for Apex 90s, but they do not require the pin; instead the linkage bars slot onto the nylon spring hanger.
